We’re happy to announce that Eventbrite has received 2 exciting acknowledgments in the past week. We think both of them reflect our passion and our dynamic company culture, so we wanted to fill you in…

First, last week we were named in Fast Company’s list of 25 Women-Run Startups to Watch, a recognition of the great leadership of our fearless Co-Founder and President, Julia Hartz. (See Julia in action here, here, and here.) There are a lot of really impressive companies on their list, and we were thrilled to be included.

Also, today we were named one of the “Hottest Companies in San Francisco” by Lead411. No, that doesn’t mean the best looking (though, you know, it doesn’t not mean that…) They actually use some very specific business metrics to calculate total hotness: to make the list, a company has to see a 150% increase in revenues over the past 2 years (with total revenues over $3M) or have received over $12M of funding in that period.

Thanks to both Fast Company and Lead411 for the honors! And thanks as always to our wonderful Eventbrite users.
