On Tuesday, BriteSF took over SF’s Mezzanine with Eventbrite Presents: RootMusic Launch Party. We were especially excited to partner with our friends at RootMusic because they’re doing big things for the music scene by providing BandPages on Facebook. The event was free with RSVP on the event page but we also collected donations and were able to raise just over $2,000 for RootMusic’s nonprofit The Root, a major hub that will support, guide and educate Bay Area musicians. We auctioned art from live artists, gave attendees their very own RootMusic/Eventbrite custom tees, and the lineup killed it with the Designer Deejays, OONA, A Plus and Opio and Del the Funky Homosapien.

Eventbrite is particularly passionate about the music industry and providing a ticketing platform that goes above and beyond. Ticketing services for the music industry have been plagued by exorbitant fees and zero visibility into your events. Eventbrite is disrupting this by empowering artists, promoters and venues with the tools to gain control of their ticketing and connect directly with their fan base.

We have a new Twitter handle—.eventbritemusic—that will have a pulse on what’s hot in the music scene and keep you up to date on all the upcoming concert, festival, venue, and artist events. Be sure to follow us today so you don’t miss any of the fun!

Thanks to all who came out on Tuesday, and we can’t wait to see you again next time.
