SummerMash: Mashable tour’s final stop in San Francisco

mashable tour logo from eventbrite pageLast night’s SummerMash was a blast. The Web 2.0 gurus threw a huge party at the Grand Hyatt for anyone and everyone in social media and tech. The Eventbrite team helped with entry management—using our check-in app on iPhones and iPads—and attendees got to sample hosted food and drinks, chat it up with bigwigs like Pete Cashmore, and grab cool prizes from event sponsors. PR firm and tour sponsor Weber Shandwick offered cupcakes and the chance to win airline tickets and iPhone accessories, Gotelo entered every attendee who registered for their site in a drawing for an iPad, and Bing sponsored the Polite in Public photobooth that was a huge attendee hit. The space was huge, and although there were well over 500 attendees there was plenty of space for mingling.

The revelry continued well into the night with the after-party held at The Parlor, featuring TechKaraoke and sponsored by Yahoo. Huge thanks to the Mashable team for such a fun evening!

  • I’m looking for opportunities to network with my fellow Mashable attendees.

I started a web development company (Custom Software by Preston) a few years ago. We improve business processing through developing custom software solutions (using .Net, ColdFusion, Ruby on Rails, Java, you name it!). We have quite a diverse set of IT skills and experience.

Let me know if you want to chat! Maybe we can come up with a way to work together!

    Thanks,

    Brett Miller
