From a long line of Saltwater people in the Pacific Northwest, Estella Buckland and her Lekwungen family have journeyed to find truth and healing in the new days of reconciliation. During this journey, Estella was chosen by her elders to carry forward the responsibility of harvesting and sharing the knowledge of traditional Indigenous medicines. This sacred knowledge has been guarded and passed down to ensure her people and all people may live healthy and prosperous lives. Today, her most important teaching is to share this knowledge respectfully with all who wish to grow and heal themselves.

Dr. Melanie Marr is a Registered Acupuncturist and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine practicing in Spruce Grove, Alberta. She was called to this medicine by a deep knowing that she would be able to help people heal. Melanie believes that, when given the proper tools, the body has an innate ability to heal itself. There is so much elegance and wisdom in this ancient form of medicine, and Melanie has witnessed the power of integrated medicine in our modern society.
