The EDGE mission for Africa

The Edge Mission for Africa Corp.(EMA) is a 501 C-3 non-profit organization centrally located at 2100 Parklake Dr, NE, Suite E5, Atlanta, GA. 30345, in a business area determined suitable for training and educational purposes, as well as customer accessibility. The EMA is dedicated to expanding outreach to underserved communities and nurturing grassroots entrepreneurship, particularly among black women, men, and youth aspiring to become business owners. The mission of the EMA is to realize a sustainable economic impact on the lives of Black women, men, and youth entrepreneurs in the Atlanta area, across the global USA, and Africa. The Edge Mission for Africa Corp.(EMA) is focused on fostering Economic Development, Growth, and Empowering (EDGE) for a lasting change. The EMA Corp’s aim and vision is to enhance plans and strategies to bring about transformation in the lives of aspiring black women, men and youth both in African American communities in the USA, and to expand services on the continent of African eventually. The EMA Corp. is committed to creating opportunities and driving positive change. The organization is passionately dedicated to uplifting and empowering black women, men, and youth to thrive as successful entrepreneurs, contributing to the economic advancement of communities in the Atlanta, GA. area, across the global USA and Africa.

EMA provides delivery services for low-income, underprivileged women, youth, and families in the Greater Atlanta Area. The EMA agency’s outreach initiative includes career skills, strategies for success, and business management preparation, along with career guidance and training for unemployed, low-income individuals. Classes and instructions will take place at The EMA Corp Educational Facility in the Greater Atlanta Area, Africa, and through our established online forum. Recipients will receive instructions and support tutoring for individuals struggling with business concepts. The EMA Corp. will also provide a specialized, challenging curriculum for advanced individuals wanting to get further ahead in the world of business for underprivileged youth, women, men, and other individuals in the Greater Atlanta Area and Africa. The EMA Corp. differs from other trade forums due to the program's unique features that set it aside from other African-USA business trade forums. The EMA Corp. offers targeted matchmaking, business plan submissions, pitching opportunities, and post-event support.

Program participants will be recruited using flyers, announcements, the media, and English, Spanish, and French conference presentations. The EMA Corp will accept referrals through the following process:

• Self-referral

• Family Service Centers

• Local Schools/Universities

• Local Businesses

• Other Community Service Agencies

The EMA Corp. is implementing strategies to increase structured giving by employing a full-time Grant Writer Outreach Director who writes grants and solicits donations, and a Chief Communications Officer. The agency is also sponsoring a series of fundraising events and soliciting major multi-year pledges. In addition, The EMA Corp. program will offer sponsorships, grants, partnerships, and registration fees. Ideally these revenue building concepts will eventually allow the Edge Mission for Africa Corp. to take over partial or full funding of its’ Business Education and Training Programs in the future.

The goals and vision of The EMA are as follows:

1. Provide Educational program that will increase the capacity of quality business educational support through The Edge Mission for Africa Corp forum, designed to empower youth, and low-income, disadvantaged, under privileged black women entrepreneurs , in the USA and Africa.

2. To foster collaboration with the potential of a sustainable environment, and development of inclusive growth. The Edge Mission for Africa Corp Business Management Preparatory programs will promote formal training and success for low-income, disadvantaged and under privileged youth and black women entrepreneurs in the USA and Africa.

3. To provide vocational education programs and career development services and opportunities to increase employment opportunities for low-income, disadvantaged and under privileged youth and women entrepreneurs , and others in USA and Africa .

The business structure of The Edge Mission for Africa Corp. is designed primarily to provide creative and innovative solutions for clients and investors who are interested in establishing business education & training, domestic markets within the United States of America and international markets, specifically, in Africa. Industries of focus include development of infrastructure, real estate and construction, water sanitation & hygiene, business, entrepreneurship, finance, health, education, agriculture, and technology. The Edge Mission for Africa Corp. will:

1. Provide an Educational program that will increase the capacity of quality business educational support through The Edge Mission for Africa Corp forum, designed to empower youth, and low-income, disadvantaged, under privileged black women entrepreneurs , in the USA and Africa.

2. To foster collaboration with the potential of a sustainable environment, and development of inclusive growth. The Edge Mission for Africa Corp Business Management Preparatory programs will promote formal training and success for low-income, disadvantaged and under privileged youth and black women entrepreneurs in the USA and Africa.

3. To provide vocational education programs and career development services and opportunities to increase employment opportunities for low-income, disadvantaged and under privileged youth and women entrepreneurs , and others in USA and Africa .

The EMA Corp. plans to bring in independent contractors to assist with project development and training. The organization will pursue partnerships with local and international business owners to establish international trade relations between the USA and Africa.
