The Consulate General of Ireland, Austin

The Consulate General of Ireland was opened in Austin in March 2015.

The Consulate General of Ireland in Austin works to promote and protect Irish interests in the US southwest, through engaging with the Irish community, promoting Irish economic interests and supporting strong partnerships at all levels between Ireland and the states of the southwest US.

The Consulate General of Ireland in Austin represents the Irish Government in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas (and Kansas City, Missouri), Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

Ireland's Consul General in Austin is Claire McCarthy.
