Strong Beginnings is a federal Healthy Start program created in 2004 to improve the health and well-being of Black and Latine women, men, and their babies, from pregnancy through early childhood. Strong Beginnings seeks to promote racial equity and eliminate disparities in birth outcomes and maternal health between whites and People of Color in Kent County.
We want every family to have what they need to have a healthy pregnancy and make sure their children thrive. All services are available in English and Spanish.
