sewalk8 yoga

My name is Sarah, creator of sewalk8 Yoga. Growing up I was always active in many activities including 15 years of professional dance training. After high school I began activities like jogging, going to gyms and small group fitness classes. My body and mind crave movement and its benefits. Eighteen years ago, I was in an accident that broke both of my legs. To this day I still have hardware in my right femur. It was quite a journey learning how to walk again. An even bigger journey it was learning to find a form of mind-body movement where I didn't hurt afterwards. That is how I found Yoga. It gave me a form of flowing movement that makes my entire body (and mind) feel Great after. Since then, I have also found Pilates and the Yoga Trapeze that provide movement without aggravating previous injuries. Practice with the Yoga Trapeze is especially helpful with back pain. At sewalk8 Yoga I offer what I wish I had found 15 years ago. Safe, effective methods of practice that enable one to build strength & flexibility while reducing stress and preventing aches & pains. I'm here to help guide you on your journey of body awareness and movement. When we learn our body's physical limitations, we can work with it safely towards reducing or even removing them. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or if you're brand new to movement, I welcome you.
