SCORE in Communities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation located in Virginia. SCORE is an acronym for “Serving and Creating Opportunities Redesigned with Equity”. Our vision is for all students to receive a dynamic, relevant, and unparalleled education that guarantees choices and opportunities today and in the future. Our mission is to narrow and close achievement and opportunity gaps, provide equitable opportunities, and serve as a backbone for collective impact to increase systemic change in underserved communities.

Readers & Achievers "Book by Book" - a literacy partnership designed to promote reading for pleasure and to increase home libraries by donating new books to students. We host exciting literacy events in our local schools which includes: Guest Authors, End of Year Celebrations, and Family Literacy Events.
