Robert Bernard Middleton

Robert B. Middleton, II is President/National Commandant of the Montford Point Marines of America whose mission is to preserve the history and legacy of the nations very first Black Marines first inducted into the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII in 1942. Also, he is Director of the Emergency and Disaster Survival Intellince Academy, and Commander of the Tacttcal Survival Crisis Management Unit that trains volunteers in disaster releif operations, emergency communications, as well as crisis response., disaster recovery, and mitigation. Mr. Middleton is Executive Director of Historical Archives and Chief Curator for the Montford Point Marines Gallery/Museum. He is combat veteran who served in SE Asia, Republic of Vietnam as a communications specialist and tactical radio operator for the Forward Air Command/Forward Logistics Command. Also, he is a licensed FCC Amatuer Ham Radio Operator (KE8 JRV), member of Wayne County Amatuer Radio Public Service Corps, NOAA and National Weather Service Storm Sspotter Team, Member R2 South Healthcare Coalition, and Ordained Minister and Disaster Chaplain. Event that we host annually include the Montford Point Marines Annual Heritage Military Banquet & Awards Ceremony, Annual National Disaster Preparedness Day Event, Annual Veterans Day Observance Ceremony at the Historic Elmwood Cemetery.
