NAB Queens 14 & NYC Department of Youth and Community Development

Neighborhood Advisory Boards (NABs) identify the needs of their local communities and help guide the City in distributing federal Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funding to support community-based human service programs.

Through NABs, residents can participate in community development in New York City. Low income neighborhoods, identified as needing community development, are called Neighborhood Development Areas (NDAs), and are represented by NABs consisting of residents who are appointed by the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) and elected officials.

YOU CAN HELP! To become a member of your local Neighborhood Advisory Board, or for additional information on DYCD, or for an application, call 646-343-6499, or email , or go to: .
