MLK Institute for Nonviolence

The Westchester Martin Luther King Jr. Institute for Nonviolence is a non-profit organization based in White Plains.  Our mission is to advance racial equity in all our communities by educating youth and adults in nonviolent activism for justice. 

 

Our programs include a MLK Freedom Library with over 3,000 books and media, conferences for youth to learn alternative skills to violence, workshops and gatherings for adults, youth and families to learn how to build safe, peaceful communities through conversation, education and celebration.
