Matt Stevenson

Matt Stevenson, President of Allied Wealth, helps assist clients using an analytical, methods-based approach each day to help them achieve their financial goals in retirement. His goal is to teach clients about various options available to them and help them build a comprehensive financial plan they can utilize during the most important years of their lives.

Matt was born and raised in rural Virginia. With his parents having career backgrounds in the mining and educational industries, he knows the importance of identifying the steps toward building a more confident financial future. Matt earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Radford University. His professional licenses include a Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative License and a Texas Life Insurance License (1914408).

Matt works with clients to help build a financial plan using a balanced investment approach. Principal protection, income, and long-term growth strategies are used to implement a holistic plan for each client based on their individual needs. Consideration is given to various economic and societal factors that may impact retirement investments, now and in the future, to help put the client in the best position possible.

Matt is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing basketball, baseball, and football, in addition to rooting for his Hokies on fall Saturdays. He loves spending his free time with family, friends, and his two beautiful toy schnauzers, Penny & Luna.
