Laser Micromachining Cluster TOOLAS

TOOLAS is a cluster, founded in 2015, with a focus on advanced laser micromachining solutions, ranging from optical components, coatings to laser micromachining technologies, laser workstations, engineering and design services as well as R&D and related technology transfer and dissemination actions. The main cluster goal is to develop a favorable environment, where pooling member's competences, resources, and R&D activities lead towards new technological solutions, accelerate mutual growth, and generate additional value to the customers.

TOOLAS laser micromachining solutions are delivered to more than 20 countries worldwide, including EU, USA, China, Taiwan, S. Korea and Japan for both industrial and scientific use. Majority of applications are related to laser surface micro-structuring, micro-drilling, cutting and 3D printing of glasses, semiconductors, metals, ceramics and polymers and are implemented in medical, semiconductors, vision, space, security & defense sectors and few other end use applications.
