I organized and led Black Lives Matter Potsdam NY in June 2020. My Son Terron Evans Jr moved to Potsdam NY in June 2020. On 1/8/21 two police informants claimed he committed suicide in their home in Potsdam NY by taking over 50 Wellbutrin pills, in the autopsy there were no pills found in his stomach, no pill residue in or around his mouth and no signs of vomiting.There were 5 responding officer's (2 Potsdam Police Officers and 3 St Lawrence County Sheriff's)at the scene but I was only given 1 body cam video, which was heavily redacted. The St Lawrence County Sheriff's had an open file dated 1/7/21 10:41pm pertaining to Terron's death. That's 8+ hours before Terron's death or the 911 call, although they never had Terron in their custody. I received nothing from that file except a sound only interview of the people that claimed suicide. That sound only interview was verbally dated and as 1/8/21. Terron Evans Jr was targeted, set up and killed and the true cause and manner of his death are being covered up.The 911 call and other materials are still being withheld from me through my numerous FOIL requests. Potsdam Police Officer Jerrid Lavoie who's body cam video I received, resigned in June 2020 after I called Internal Affairs. The St Lawrence County Chief ADA Jason Marx resigned on the same day Terron's life was taken(1/8/21) and St Lawrence County Sheriff's Detective Thomas Caringi retired after closing Terron's case. Terron is the son of former Black Lives Matter Potsdam New York (6/1/20-6/30/21)Organizer Jennifer Baxtron(me). Terron's death, Crystal Hamilton Kipp, Brian Gates, the District Attorney, St Lawrence County Sheriff's, Potsdam Police and others need to be investigated and held accountable. We will meet at the St Lawrence County District Attorney's Office at 4pm. The District Attorney's Office is right across the street from the Sheriff's Department where we will also be protesting. We will March and then return to the District Attorney's building to protest the St Lawrence County Board of Legislators Meeting ,followed by a candle light vigil. Bundle up because it will be very cold. Bring your signs, voices, and candles."Injustice Anywhere Is A Threat To Justice Everywhere".
