BACKGROUND

The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce was founded 75 years ago in 1946 by a group of local business leaders, in order to better promote Jackson Hole as a travel destination. As the Chamber realized success in its original mission, its scope expanded to more traditional Chamber of Commerce activities, including advocates for the local business community and residents who call Jackson Hole home.

While its roots are still firmly planted in destination marketing and management organization framework and activities, the Chamber “Rides for the Brand” each day and champions organizational excellence while recognizing the critical balance of business and quality of life for residents.
