Gals Institute

Gals Institute is a collaborative group of licensed clinicians providing therapy services, resiliency-building workshops, one-day events, and support groups in the Lake Country Area. Owner and founder Deanna Marincic, MSW LCSW, opened the doors over five years ago to provide prevention programs and research-based therapy by caring providers that specialize in working with the family system. Our team consists of clinical and in-training licensed therapists who bring an incredible wealth of knowledge and expertise in their care for families. Additional clinical team members include a registered, licensed dietician, and all of our clients have access to our Mental Health Prescriber (NP). Our Therapists

Therapy Services

As licensed therapists, we specialize in treating a wide variety of challenges and growth opportunities and are proud to collaborate with other businesses that support our mission. Gals Institute is the proud mental health provider to six contracted school districts in Waukesha County, including Oconomowoc Area School District, Kettle Moraine School District, Pewaukee School District, North Lake School District, Richmond School District, and Swallow Elementary School. After an initial assessment in our office, we can see your child at school if you wish (contact us for details and availability). These partnerships help with therapist access and the minimization of missed school or work. After 4-5 individual appointments with your child, we schedule a family session to keep you informed. Gals On The Go Project: Sister Foundation focused on community outreach and resiliency building

We create a fun, hands-on learning environment while planting positive seeds of encouragement, confidence, and healthy self-esteem in girls and boys. We invite you to take a closer look to see if any of our upcoming workshops or groups interest your child or family. Every workshop is different, so be sure to consider each separate event! We have a variety of materials and activities that will provide continued positivity in your child’s life.

Gals Institute is continually growing to meet the community's needs and now has a sister foundation, Gals on the Go Project (GOTGP). GOTGP provides the above-mentioned resiliency-based workshops/events to local schools and organizations. We raise money to offer individual scholarships and grants to schools to meet the demand for socio-emotional needed support. If you wish to sponsor a child and support our mission, you can make a tax-deductible donation to Gals on the Go Project.
