Every Neighborhood Partnership & Fresno County Trauma & Resilience Network
Every Neighborhood Partnership (ENP) exists to connect churches and other community partners with elementary schools and equip them to serve through their active presence in every neighborhood.
The Fresno County Trauma & Resilience Network started in the Spring of 2017 a handful of local organizational leaders decided to convene others that had a desire to learn more about ACEs and the effects of trauma in our kids and families. Knowing that trauma is generational, we knew that trauma was a major player in the low health, academic and community ratings our county possessed.
We also knew that we were a region with grit and heart, thus we knew we could work toward a goal of building resilience in our youth, families, and neighborhoods.
Our Trauma & Resilience Network is part of the Fresno County Health Improvement Partnership, a larger network of organizations that are tackling diabetes, childhood obesity, food security, and other health disparities.
Though we are in the early stages of our collective work, we are already building momentum in bringing more awareness of the effects of trauma and as well as creating ways of building resilience in those that call Fresno County home.
