DVWMT MISSION STATEMENT AND GOAL

Since 2008, we have been positively influencing education, encouragement, and cognitive empathy for the many tags of domestic violence (verbal, emotional, physical, sexual, and financial). DVWMT is an educational resource adequately providing the epidemic of domestic violence with life-changing information, current research, and prevention strategies that include education and training for victims, abusers, survivors, family, friends, cosmetologists, clergy, and government agencies.

Mission Statement:

DVWMT genuinely wants to influence appropriate education and fresh perspectives together and thoughtfully provide everyone at the dinner table with a necessary means of assured safety and support. We unwittingly provide scientific-based evidence to dissect and educate on the tags. DVWMT signature workshop “domestic violence wears many tags” helps men, women, and teens inevitably get comfortable talking about domestic violence from a tag perspective. DVWMT is branding these tags as being the leading causes of intimate partner violence, mutual violence couples, same-sex couple’s violence, family domestic violence, and teen dating violence. The education will help tremendously to revolutionize the way dinner tables view domestic violence.

Goal:

A. To educate on the many tags of domestic violence (verbal, emotional, financial, sexual, and physical abuse) and build partnerships that can help provide avenues for DVWMT to reach males and females in multiple populations.

B. To advise changing the concept of only women being abused and including male victims of domestic violence, males need to be educated on the importance of devising an exit plan, support, and resources (DVWMT is working in partnership with other countries as a global effort).

C. To educate and establish the link between domestic violence and mental health, people do not have to be clinically diagnosed for their mental health to be drastically traumatized.
