Da'Trice Smith-Jones

Chief Executive Officer Da’Trice Smith-Jones of Our Community Health Center Located in Gretna, La, became the CEO in August 2021 after playing a critical role in the development of the health center as a board member and Secretary of the Executive board since the birth of the organization. Da'Trice received a Master of Social Work and a Master's of Public Health from Tulane University with certificates in Disaster and Collective Trauma, Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. As a mental health Therapist and substance abuse counselor, she operates two re-entry facilities in the Greater New Orleans area, she had too many clients unable to find quality primary care services which led her to her work with OCH. She excels in program and organizational planning, with documented success in building high-quality, cost-effective, and comprehensive service offerings. Areas of specialty include domestic violence, sexual abuse, runaway youth, conflict resolution, and financial literacy. Mrs. Smith-Jones also has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology . Mrs. Smith-Jones is committed to assuring excellent health services and financial literacy are available to people in the community.
