Julia Hartstein graduated Queens College Cum Laude with a B.A. in Dance in 2001. She is Romana Certified since 2003 and is a Level 4 instructor. She was trained under Joseph Pilates' protege, Romana Kryzanowska, and also her daughter, Sari Mejia Santo and is considered a "First Generation" teacher. Julia was a teacher at Romana's certifying studio in NYC for six years, where she became a Level 4 Instructor (a "teacher of teachers"). This title entails the responsibility of not only helping to certify apprentices, but also, it is the recognition of dedication to upholding the method and values that Joseph Pilates created and intended in this practice. Julia is certified in ReUnion Process Kinesiology as of 2012, as well. This process is a deep form of meditation that enables one to clear oneself of mental, emotional and spiritual baggage. Julia signed on to be a Young Living distributor in 2015 and is an avid user of essential oils. She is also an Enagic distributor, which is a filtered ph balanced water system, also known as Kangen water. Julia is a student of Pat Longo since 2018 and is ordained by Dan Chesbro as a priestess in the Order of Melchizedek in 2019.
