City of Jackson Recreation and Parks Department
Our mission is to be an accountable steward of public recreation facilities and other recreation resources and an efficient provider of quality, wholesome leisure services to benefit the mind, body, and spirit of all the citizens of Jackson, TN.
The City of Jackson is the home of twenty (20) public parks, eight (8) public educational and recreation facilities, and one (1) public golf course. Click the "Parks & Facilities" icon to see a map of each location.
Our city venues are also housed under our department. Venues include the Carl Perkins Civic Center, Jackson's AMP at the Market, Jackson Fairgrounds Park, The Ned McWherter West Tennessee Cultural Arts Center, and the West Tennessee Farmers' Market.
We offer multiple sport clinics at a fee as well as other free public events. You can find registration for each by visiting www.parks.jacksontn.gov
