Cherry Marmes Smyth

Cherry Marmes Smyth is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, beauty queen and active Filipino-American community leader on the East Coast. Cherry is the sole proprietor of Cherry M. Smyth Productions, LLC based in Connecticut. She is also the owner of CMS Collections, an in-house boutique located at 169 Kenwood Estates, Griswold, CT. Cherry is a Director of VISI Global, a multi-national Company concentrating on Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT’s) crpto, health and wellness, travel and investing. Cherry immigrated to the US in 2006 and has been married to Pete Smyth for the past seventeen years. Cherry and Pete were blessed with a baby boy, Brady Douglas Marmes Smyth, in June 2018. Cherry, Pete and Brady reside in Griswold, CT in the southeastern portion of the state.

Cherry is the passionate Founder and President of KIDS PHILIPPINES INC. (KPI), a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit charitable corporation based in Connecticut. The mission of Kids Philippines is to increase access to education, healthcare and other critical resources for kids throughout the Philippines. The KPI goal is to encourage each child to become self-sufficient so that he or she can participate in the positive development of their communities. KPI encourages kids to take their studies seriously and attend classes regularly. KPI distributes top quality backpacks, essential school supplies and other necessary items on a case by case basis. KPI has expanded into Rhode Island, New York, Massachusetts and New Jersey. Kids Philippines supports upwards of seven thousand kids throughout the Philippine Islands with more to come in the future. KPI supported 70 plus schools, institutions and organization in the Philippines. “It’s all about the kids”.

In addition to the time Cherry spends performing Mom duties, KPI fundraising and home businesses, Cherry has a variety of pastimes and hobbies. Gardening, kayaking, singing, shopping and traveling takes up most of her remaining free time. But, of course, Brady will always and forever be the #1 priority in Cherry’s life.
