Welcome to the Boyd County Extension Office

The Boyd County Cooperative Extension Services is part of the Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service which is a joint effort of the University of Kentucky and Kentucky State University. Our purpose is to deliver research based information and education programs and opportunities in the areas of agriculture and natural resources, horticulture, family and consumer sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and the Nutrition Education Program.
