Ashby Patrick

Ashby Patrick, the founder of the Volunteer Initiative Support Organization (VISO), has been a driving force in empowering local communities in Uganda for over twenty years. Witnessing the 2003 humanitarian crisis in Northern Uganda, he recognized the need for sustainable, locally-led initiatives. VISO, born out of this realization, focuses on alleviating the impact of crises through community participation, emphasizing empowerment, peace, and development.
