Anthony J Finkel

Anthony J. Finkel is a Brooklyn born American entrepreneur, radio personality and marketing consultant. He started his career in marketing in 2009 on “The Conversation”, a weekly television show broadcast on the Manhattan Neighborhood Network. Hosted by Judge Shannon Z. Taylor, “The Conversation” brought together people of different backgrounds to discuss global issues and current events. Anthony was inspired by the idea of using media to connect people.

In 2012, Anthony toured internationally with MTV Award winning band Riot !n Paris in recognition of their #TrackMe social media campaign. Upon returning from the tour, he began recording and broadcasting commercials on top radio stations Hot 97 and Power 105.1 as part of the Put A Chill On Violence campaign, effectively reaching over 70 million people along the East Coast.

In 2013, Anthony founded Ditmas Park Helpers to address a need in his community for high-quality, low-cost handyman services. Anthony has developed Ditmas Park Helpers from a neighborhood business into a company proudly serving clients throughout the tristate area.

Currently, Anthony works for the Flatbush Development Corporation, heading up their economic development department, working with and overseeing special events, promotions and marketing for over 120 businesses in the Ditmas Park area.

Looked to as a community leader, Anthony has been interviewed by publications like The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. He also hosts a radio show called “Let’s Talk About It” on Cortelyou Road Radio, and has interviewed interesting luminaries like Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams and urban artist Laolu Senbanjo.

Anthony also sits as the Corresponding Secretary for New York State Senator Jesse Hamilton’s Business and Economic Development Advisory Committee, where he identifies needs and services available for small businesses and works with experts in their related fields on legislative advocacy related to small businesses development.
