Anahata Yoga and Wellness/Tina Makris

Tina has been teaching Yoga for over 15 years and has been in the health and fitness industry for over 25 years. She is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, graduating from the San Diego College of Ayurveda, an E-RYT 500 through the Yoga Alliance, has an Advanced Yoga Therapy Certification through Loyola Marymount University. Tina directs Anahata Yoga and Wellness' 200 & 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training. She has been facilitating Rejuvenation and Healing Retreats since 2003 and offers Private Reiki and Pranic Vibrational Healing session; helping people remove their blocks, raise their vibration and move into their Grace. Her teaching styles include Classical Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin Yoga, Kids, Pre-Natal and Kundalini Yogas. She also holds a 1st Degree Black Belt in Chinese Kenpo Karate. Her studies of over 14 years in the Martial Arts combined with her love and knowledge for Yoga and Ayurveda brings a well-rounded open view in her teachings of the mind, body, and soul. She is a loving mother and wife who deeply enjoys nature and animals.
