Alicia Astronomo

Alicia Astronomo (b. and based in Baltimore, MD) is a multi-disciplinary artist, Communications major, and studio assistant whose work focuses on self discovery, documentation, archival, and the preservation of narratives to work against the history rewritten by oppressive infrastructures.

She released her first art book, big trip, little dipper, released her first spoken word EP, slob rap, vol. 1, curated her own virtual retrospective, (clone)physics, exhibited in the group show No Batteries Attached at the Black Genius Art Show, released her first poetry collection turned album, piggy bank tightrope, and performed at The Get Down 9 at Motor House in 2023.

Her current projects consist of her virtual gallery, naked art museum, and her blog, vomitmouth.

Her art administrative work revolves around studio assistance, grant writing, project and asset management, creative direction, public relations, and event organization.
