KIPDA
The Kentuckiana Regional Planning and Development Agency (KIPDA), established in 1973, is one of 15 area development districts in Kentucky. The organization encompasses the counties of Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer and Trimble counties in Kentucky and Clark and Floyd counties in Indiana. KIPDA provides regional planning, review and technical services in the areas of community and economic development, social services and transportation as well as a community ridesharing program. Additionally, KIPDA coordinates services for persons 60 years of age and over.
