Spoon River Anthology

Spoon River Anthology is a collection of verse epitaphs of a 1918 small-town graveyard in Illinois. Its panoramic scope allows for individual stories to create a sense of what it takes and who it takes to create a community. Staged at the Julian Town Hall

Our Why: We’re a nonprofit association skilled at producing shows, raising money and building community. The East County region of San Diego has a small number of theater producers, and a large number of artists, theatergoers and patrons. ECPAA helps producers by promoting the entire regional theatrical arts scene and bringing together a community of patrons eager to offer financial support to the entire region’s benefit. Our What: Our patron development and fundraising programs raise money throughout the year. ECPAA both produces shows and shares fundraising proceeds among member producers through fund distribution, as well as start-up grants to emerging companies.San Diego East County? Includes the communities of Alpine, Borrego Springs, El Cajon, Jamul, Julian, La Mesa, Lakeside, Lemon Grove, Ramona, Santee, and Spring Valley.
