The Ramphal Institute is a not-for-profit organisation that works to advance social and economic development, environment sustainability, good governance and justice.  Its research and knowledge-sharing seek to inform policy debate and public opinion.  The Institute operates out of King’s College London but retains its legal and academic independence as it leverages its efforts and outreach to deliver its mandate in a concrete way and have a positive and sustainable impact.The Institute bears the name of Sir Shridath Ramphal and continues his pioneering and courageous work to advance sustainable development and global justice and search for solutions to today’s problems.  It functions across a broad spectrum of areas, however its current focus includes; helping small and least developed countries benefit from the SDGs, agro- food trade and food security, diaspora and business development, Climate Change, Trade and Development, Islamic Finance, Megacities, Education and the wider implications of the proposed Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).http://www.ramphalinstitute.org/
