My name is Rachel, and I'm a mid-twenty-something health coach/freelance writer living in the lovely city of Boston. I hold an extreme passion for healthy living, exercise, cooking, and taking care of myself from the inside & out. 

Because I have absolutely fallen in love with motivating other’s to live a healthier lifestyle (and living one myself), I enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to become a full-time Health Coach. I take a holistic, balanced approach to healthy living, without fad diets, calorie-counting, rigorous plans or prescriptions. Rather, I focus on all aspects of well-being, from learning natural ways to de-stress to understanding the right foods for your individual body. 

You can check out my health coaching services over at my website Zesty Living, which focuses on helping women get their “zest” back, be it through discovering a practical meal plan, weeding out foods that are hurting your body, gaining a healthier relationship or taking up yoga and finding inner peace.  You see; health to me isn’t counting calories, carbs, or miles on the treadmill. It’s much more than that, as everything works together to create balance: relationship, career, nutrition, exercise, spirituality even. 

In my spare time, I enjoy practicing yoga, long runs on the Charles River, creating new recipes in the kitchen, nibbling on dark chocolate, and being happy.
