Volunteer Louisiana Foundation

Volunteer Louisiana Foundation is a Louisiana non profit, established to support projects and intitatives of the the Volunteer Louisiana Commission.  In 1993, the Volunteer Louisiana Commission was established in the Office of the Lt. Governor to rekindle the spirit of service and citizenship among Louisianians.  The mission of Volunteer Louisiana is to build and sustain high quality programs that meet the needs of Louisiana's citizens and promote an ethic of service.  We are proud that 47 percent of Louisiana adults volunteer to make their communities a better place to work, live and play.
