Trail Life Troop 317 - Journey Evangelical Church

We are one of the first Trail Life USA Orange County troop in central Orange County specifically in city of Westminster. 

Trail Life USA is a Christian adventure, character, and leadership program for young men. The K-12 program centers on outdoor experiences that build a young man’s skills and allow him to grow on a personal level and as a role model and leader for his peers. Living the Trail Life is a journey established on timeless values derived from the Bible.

Our troop is under the lordship of Jesus Christ and the leadership of Senior Pastor Richard Pfeil presiding over Journey Evangelical Church. We are also blessed with Samuel Pech who serves as Children’s ministry director at JEC as our Charter Organization Representative and Rev. Rick Nieves as our Troop Chaplain to provide strong biblical teaching to our boys.In addition to our pastoral leadership, we are pleased to have Brandon Grove, a second generation Eagle scout and former Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America, to serve as our Troopmaster/Advisor. Beyond being a godly mentor to our boys, Brandon brings years of outdoor adventure experience and expertise to our troop.
