The Linear Gallery and Maryland Design Impact Lab [mDIL]

A cross-disciplinary student collaborative that leverages the diverse expertise of undergraduate and graduate students using design thinking methods to create positive social impact at multiple scales. This collaborative facilitates testing, making, and experimenting in order to implement ideas. Students are given the tools, process and an environment that nurtures design thinking, creativity, tinkering, entrepreneurship and innovation and are charged with acting on their ideas.
