Shauna Signorini is the trainer and director of Involve Families, a mental health training and consultancy business. When her daughter experienced severe mental health issues, she wanted to help families with her experience.
She leads professional development courses for professionals who work with kids with mental health issues and leads workshops for parents. She also consults with organizations around trauma, family engagement and mental health.
Previously she worked for Oregon Family Support Network in Training and Outreach. She is the state trainer for NAMI Basics, a 6 week course for caregivers of children with mental health issues and Tier 2 trained in Collaborative Problem Solving through Think:Kids. She was part of an 80 hour Child Trauma Academy interdisciplinary training through the state of Oregon in 2011.
She has trained and worked with diverse families with children with serious emotional, social and behavioral issues across the state of Oregon. Her desire is to see families and those who work with them collaborate for better outcomes
