National Center On Deafness

Since 1964, CSUN NCOD has provided full access to university programs for students who are deaf and hard of hearing. The Deaf CSUNians and the CSUN NCOD Alumni chapter help to enrich learning and linkages. The result is a unified and holistic student development experience which builds leadership skills and continues life-long.

In addition to NCOD's  academic and support programs for students, NCOD also provides information and training for service providers, professionals, families, managers and community. The NCOD Library is a precious national collection of reference books, media and publications related to the deaf community.

CSUN is also known as a sign language users community approaching 1,000 students, faculty and staff!  Programs include Deaf Education, Deaf Studies, NCOD and PEPNet.  www.csun.edu/ncod
