Maryam Sharifi

Maryam’s Philanthropy mindset developed since her childhood. Her father and mother were a great influence of giving and taking care of others for her. They were both respected and loved by many people.

She started her giving journey at the age of 19, after she returned to Iran from Italy. She discovered a small pocket area in the middle of big city where people were living without water or electricity and all the basics necessity of life. She started visiting these families and bringing supplies to them. Taking the kids to enroll them to local school and persuade the principle of school to enroll these kids by promising her that she will provide all the supplies and uniform they need to attend school.

Maryam grew up questioning everything, and asking the big why. She was seeking the answers in many books she read since she was only 5 years old. She read a book about Vietnam War written by Oriana Fallaci, and made her question the purpose of all wars. She came across of a book by Anton Makarenko who created an alternative school or camp for orphan children on street. Kids were living at the camp, working and studying there. The result was amazing transformation of these lost kids who turned out to be doctors and engineers and successful members of the new society in the Soviet Union. Maryam’s purpose was rooted in the influence of this book and how we can change ourselves to be a better productive member of the society.

Maryam hunger for knowledge and finding a better solution brought her to Tony Robbins, Bob Proctor, Napoleon Hill and all other wonderful teachers of self-growth movement. She believed that with knowledge comes the responsibility of sharing and implementing it. She started her first seminars in 2008 and has been bringing valuable information to her community since by workshops and seminars.

Maryam has graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Business Management, and obtained multiple certificates and diplomas in business, computer and health & wellness. She is also a founder of Rejuvenation Connection, a company dedicated to promoting health & wellness through bringing educational seminars and workshops to the community. For the last 18 years, Maryam have been helping her real estate clients find their dream homes. It is her goal to assist her clients through all the steps of finding, buying, selling and investing in real estate. Her loyalty and genuine interest in helping her clients, is what separates her from the rest.

Maryam has been the president of National Association of Professional Women in Westlake Village, CA, where she served few years, inspiring and promoting woman business owners. She owned her own business of a Day Spa for years, worked as a fitness instructor, training people and teaching weight management classes. Maryam has been giving back to the community as an organizer of 2 meetup groups and leader of a mastermind group, helping her members with self-improvement journey and building a positive self-image, and creating a positive mindset to achieve successful life.

Maryam’s dream of creating a non-profit organization on over 100 Acres land, to inspire others and implement all she learned in her life journey; to create a joyous environment with a close connection to nature, is coming true with Global Enlightenment Academy and Community. She has just started this mission and is inviting you all to join her in this amazing journey.
