Kensington Students' Chamber Orchestra

Kensington Students’ Chamber Orchestra was formed in October 2011. It comprises of students from across London's music scene, drawing upon the talent from London's major universities and conservatoires. We have recently expanded from our original 11 string players to over 30 members, including wind, and our upcoming concert will mark the first performance with them. While many student orchestras rehearse on a weekly basis, we run on a concert-to-concert basis, giving musicians the opportunity to rehearse and perform chamber music in a short amount of time. The orchestra provides an excellent platform for allowing students to perform as soloists, lead their sections and even conduct.
