Jennifer Hill Robenalt

I am a communications professional with twenty-two years of experience in media relations, creative and literary development, professional writing,  marketing, publicity and Web 2.0/digital media strategy.  My flagship client from 1997-2001 was the Texas Book Festival, an annual event founded and chaired by First Lady Laura Bush. I worked directly with Mrs. Bush to create PSAs, write op/eds, manage her media appearances and secure national media coverage for this important Texas public library fundraiser. As principal of Hoopla Media & Communications, I also created and implemented PR efforts for Girlstart, a non-profit dedicated to empowering girls in math, science, technology and engineering. I secured coverage in Cosmo Girl, Woman's Day, The Today Show, CNN and The Oprah Winfrey Show among many other outlets. Other clients included Fine Line Features and Anthony Nak Jewelry. In 2001, my company was acquired by GCI Read-Poland, Austin's oldest public relations agency. There, I landed and serviced new clients including the launch of Hard Rock Cafe in Austin. I later went on to become PR Manager for the University of Texas at Austin Performing Arts Center where I managed media relations and wrote marketing and advertising copy for nationally-acclaimed musicians, performers, literary figures, dance companies and more. I also worked directly with Broadway Across America to promote touring shows. I was then recruited to serve as a Senior PR Manager for AMD, Intel's primary competitor. For this Fortune 500 company, I managed their broadcast program, measurement and analysis program, executive media trainings and the executive visbility and design center programs. I also supported their digital media and entertainment initiative for special projects including partnerships between Microsoft and the Austin Film Society. In 2007, I launched Robin Hill Media.
