Educational Foundation of Lake County

The Educational Foundation is a non-for-profit organization that is the direct support organization for Lake County Public Schools. Our mission is to serve as the connection between our community and public education, evaluating needs and securing resources to enhance the quality of education.

The Educational Foundation of Lake County operates for the benefit of students and teachers in Lake County Public Schools. The foundation  programs include: Grants for Great Ideas, Back to School Backpack Fairs, Take Stock In Children, Teacher of the Year, Rookie Teacher of the Year, Employee and Volunteer of the Year, New Beginnings, and the LCS Science Fair. The foundation holds fundraisers that include: Stepping out for Education, Renaissance Faire, Annual Golf Tournament, Ladies Fore Education, and Duck Race. We are the recipient of the State of Florida License Tags Revenue Program and the School District Education Foundation Matching Grant Program.
