 The Ventura County Health Care Agency is the largest agency in the County of Ventura employer system with over 3,500 employees providing services through:

• Ventura County Medical Center which is a Level II Regional Trauma Center, has the only PICU in the County and includes a Ronald McDonald Family Room!

• Santa Paula Hospital houses a 3D Hologic Mammogram unit which is the most advanced, most comfortable mammogram available! They also offer family planning, prenatal care and a Birth Center which features water immersion or a Labor and Delivery Room options.

• 35 Ambulatory Care Specialty Clinics including 7 Urgent Care Clinics throughout the county.

• Behavioral Health Services such as Crisis Stabilization Unit, Mental Health services, Substance Use Disorder, Screening Assessment, Prevention, Outreach and Education.

• Public Health which is nationally accredited through the Public Health Accreditation Board, and provides services and preventive programs in communicable diseases; and is recognized by the CDC for Diabetes Prevention Program.

• Ventura County Health Care Plan is a Knox Keene Licensed Health Plan providing cost effective, quality health care services and comprehensive benefit plans to County of Ventura employees and their dependents.
