Emil Buehler Aviation Institute at Broward College
The Emil Buehler Aviation Institute, established in 1966, links Broward College’s Judson A. Samuels South Campus with North Perry Airport. Our beautiful complex is the perfect environment in which to start a career in aviation. Our students receive industry training from highly skilled instructors at an affordable cost. Students are surrounded by aviation professionals and experience flight and maintenance operations in action, and have all the facilities of a full-service college campus.
Broward College’s Aviation Institute is the only public facility in Broward County dedicated to the training of aviation professionals. The Institute offers:
• on-site flight training • three maintenance hangars totaling over 20,000 sq ft.• flight lab and state-of-the-art flight training devices • tower, radar, enroute air traffic control simulators • aircraft maintenance training equipment • computer-based testing • online courses and spacious workshops • staff examiners to help prepare students for aviation careers in the 21st century.
