The Department of Plastic & Oral Surgery is one of the largest and most experienced pediatric plastic and oral surgery centers anywhere in the world, with ten dedicated subspecialty programs, including the Cleft Lip and Palate Program. Every year, the department sees over 16,000 children of all ages and with all different types of conditions; those that are present at birth, those acquired later in life, the most common and the most rare and complex.

The Foundation for Faces of Children is dedicated to improving the lives of children with craniofacial differences, including cleft lip, cleft palate, and other head and facial conditions. Our mission is to provide patients and families with the most accurate, up-to-date, and accessible information about facial differences, and to advocate for the best care possible for children with facial differences.
