Marymass Folk Festival was set up in 1968 by members of Irvine Folk Club. It is rooted in the community and at the festival you’ll find intimate concerts with top musicians, quirky competitions, friendly atmosphere “a folk festival like they used to be!”

Irvine folk club

Organizer of Marymass Folk Festival 2023
The Irvine Folk Club meets fortnightly on Wednesday nights in the Vineburgh Community Centre. It is one of the oldest folk clubs in Scotland with a well earned reputation for great music for over 50 years. The Marymass Folk Festival, which runs each year in August, is also organised by Irvine Folk Club.
