Frequently asked questions

Where is the camp?

Our camp is located at a five-acre residence in downtown Rockwall, TX. The address will be shared with booking.

What do we bring?

Each student will need to bring a snack, sack lunch, refillable water bottle, change of clothes (in case of dirt, etc.), a swimsuit for water play, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, a towel, and insect spray.

Do you provide insect repellent?

Yes, we carry Murphy's Naturals Lemon Eucalyptus Oil Insect Repellent Spray | DEET-Free, Plant-Based | Mosquito and Tick. Should you prefer a different spray, please pack with your student and inform Laura or Sarai.

Who are the instructors?

Laura - a horticulturist and garden enthusiast. Laura has two sons ages 10 and 6 and a silver labrador named Trigger. Laura rescued Trigger from the Ft. Worth Animal Shelter, so we plan to have a birthday party for Trigger during the second week of camp.

Who are the instructors?

Sarai - an artist and nature enthusiast. Sara has a son that is almost 4. Sarai loves insects, animals, and encouraging beauty in her environment.
