Vento Tank Workshop

This class will be in person at Capital Fabric Supply at 63 Broadway in Kingston, NY

Date & Time : 12 - 6pm, Saturday June 13th

Cost : $120, pattern included, students are responsible for purchasing their own fabric. Sewing machines provided.

Experience Level : Advanced Beginner or above, must be comfortable and have experience using a home sewing machine and working from a sewing pattern. See further requirements below.

The Vento Tank

The Vento Tank is the unassuming, indulgent basic everyone needs in their wardrobe. Bra friendly, because functional is the new sexy, with a soft vee neckline that exposes your collarbone just enough to keep things interesting.

Advanced beginner or above welcome; please come with knowledge of and experience in using a home sewing machine and working from a sewing pattern. Note that this will be for the tank view A only. In this workshop we will also go over how to easily make continuous bias for finishing the neckline and armholes. We will use the straight stitch for construction and overlock to finish the seams.

Fabric yardage should be purchased and pattern cut out by participants beforehand. You can come slightly earlier to use our table to cut if needed but please note that space is limited.

We have a wide variety of suitable fabrics in the shop for this garment! Cotton/Linen Blends, Light Floral Lawns or Drapey Cupro Blends are excellent choices that come in a few different hues and colorways. We offer a 10% discount for those participating in the workshop.

The pattern will be sent via email 10 days before the first class.

Cancellation Policy : It can be very difficult to fill a cancelled spot in such small groups though we understand life happens, people get sick, things with kids arise, etc. Please read this policy thoroughly before booking as we will not be able to make exceptions as a small, independently run business.

If you can, please provide at least 72 hours notice so that we can try to fill your spot. You will receive a gift card of the purchased amount that can be used towards future workshops or in store purchases.

If you can not provide 72 hours notice or you do not show up to the workshop, you will not be eligible for any store credit.

PARKING

Parking on Broadway is metered while parking off Broadway on side streets is free so we suggest the latter.
