What: 13th Annual Men Hurt Too: The Other Side of Domestic Violence Panel and Mental Health Educational Conference for Males and Families (10 & Up). An umbrella of key topics on domestic violence, mental health, false allegation, child support, and more to help increase male emotional intelligence, valuable resources, and support.

Who: Domestic Violence Wears Many Tags non-profit organization, Founder QueenAfi and Young Men of Promise, CEO Marc Williams

When: Saturday, June 29th, 2024, doors open at 1:00 p.m.

Where: Bald Eagle Community Center, 100 Joliet Street, Southeast, Washington, D.C.

Details: The rare event will feature some of the DMV’s most respected community leaders and longtime activists. Males will properly discuss specific issues that men typically experience as it pertains to domestic violence, absentee fathers, visitation, and legal rights (protective orders). The local event also includes community resources such as training programs, addiction health resources, and mental health resources. We have vendor tables available, and we have performance slots. Students can rightfully earn community service hours.

About DVWMT

DVWMT genuinely wants to positively influence appropriate education and fresh perspectives and thoughtfully provide everyone at the dinner table with a necessary means of assured safety and support. We unwittingly provide scientific-based evidence to dissect and properly educate on the tags of domestic violence (verbal, emotional, financial, sexual, and physical abuse). DVWMT carefully educates the local community, male and female, on an umbrella of specific topics regarding domestic violence and mental health. We ideally want to enthusiastically encourage sincere dialogue in the hope of intentionally causing domestic violence and mental health to be precisely two popular dinner table conversations.

For all media inquiries, please contact QueenAfi by phone at 202-920-9101 or by email at dvwmt@gmail.com.
