The Living and Dying Café is a unique venture where people gather to discuss their views, concerns, and fears about death and dying openly and without judgment. Rather than depressing or morbid, participants typically find talking about death a liberating experience.
The Death Café movement focuses on open and candid discussions about death and dying in a comfortable and supportive environment. The first death Café in the USA was held in Columbus, Ohio in July 2012. Research indicates there are now as many as 14,000 death cafés in 82 countries worldwide.
People of all backgrounds, beliefs and cultures are welcome.

Allan is the founder and guiding teacher emeritus of the Community Meditation Center (CMC) and is currently writing his fourth book, Living and Dying as the Person You Want to Be.
