Tai Chi
Overview

Join us for a relaxing and invigorating Tai Chi session to unwind and improve your mind-body connection!

Originating in ancient China, Tai Chi is one of the most effective exercises for the health of mind and body. Although an art with great depth of knowledge and skill, it can be easy to learn and soon delivers its health benefits. For many people, it continues as a lifelong journey. Originally developed for self-defense, Tai Chi has evolved into a graceful, flowing form of exercise often described as meditation in motion.

The Mayo Clinic states that Tai Chi is generally safe for all ages and fitness levels. It is a gentle way to reduce stress and anxiety and to help increase flexibility and balance.

Your instructor, Sandy Frazer, has worked as a health educator for many years and is certified in Tai Chi for Arthritis, Fall Prevention, and Seated Exercise. Sandy is registered with the Tai Chi for Health Intitute and the Arthritis Foundation.

Join her for an introduction to Sun-style Tai Chi exercises.

Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in, and comfortable shoes.
